HS graduation: The area was fantastic for bear watching! The view and home were as advertised and we couldn’t be happier.
The management company contacted us a week prior to our stay to inform us that a sofa sleeper was removed. Thankfully we had a no show in our party so the lack of sleeping space was not an issue. There were damages to the property that we would have hoped were fixed before our stay. One bathroom vanity was chipped and the cabinet broken. The toilet lid was broken off. There was trash around the outside of the house and a few things behind the nightstand. The main level windows were partially cleaned as you could still see smudged hand prints.
Even with all the issues we would still come back in hopes the management company does a better job.

Seen bears every day: The property was nice. We had plenty of room on the inside and the decks were nice to sit on having your coffee watching the sun rise. If you love hot water then the main bathroom is for you. The water is hot same as the kitchen. We seen bears every day except the day we left. Seen mother and cub several times. Make sure to lock your car doors as we didn’t the 1st day, no damage just muddy paw prints. Only 2 bad things I can say about the property is the shower heads are low, parking is very tight. Can fit 3 vehicle’s we had 2 Honda civic’s and Honda pilot. Had room to open doors and trunks. Pools are clean and 1 had really nice view. Over all it’s a very nice property with comfy beds.

Loved our visiting bears!: We just got home from our best family vacation! The house is layed out great for multiple generations. We, grandma and grandpa, had our main floor bedroom, two upstairs bedrooms for parents and two lower level bedrooms and couched for our six pre-teen and teen grandkids.

Great views and a lot of room!: The chalet was beautiful, homey, and spacious. There were 2 bears sighted our first night! The drive is steep, so be careful if you go when it’s snowing or icy. The view from the hot tub was amazing! Mountains and all of Gatlinburg was visible. There isn’t a yard, but plenty to do with the home theater, pool table, and board games provided. We loved being so close to downtown. It can be noisy with a lot of people. You can hear people walking on the floor above you or showering on the floor below. The top floor and bottom floor showers do not get above lukewarm. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Easy check in process.

Bears! Bears! Everywhere!: We really enjoyed our stay! We saw bears everyday below the decks. It was an amazing sight to see. The hot tub was very clean and nice, all 3 decks were amazing and the view was awesome! The pool table was an absolute hit and lots of memories were made around it. The kitchen was decently stocked with needed items. You will need to bring a few cleaning things with you (liquid hand soap, dish washing pods (they gave 3)) the beds were comfortable and clean and the bedrooms were a decent size. We had 12 people in our group and the cabin was plenty big for all of us.
Draw back: the ceiling was leaking in the kitchen/dining room area. I called management and they said they would send someone and no one ever came. It seemed to be leaking from the toilet water line that supplies water to the toilet. By the looks of it, it seemed to have been an on going problem.
Also, parking. We fit 3 cars (a minivan, a jeep and a small suv) VERY tight!!!!!
But overall we were very happy with our stay! We would stay here again.

Family trip: We had a great time on our vacation. Let's me begin with the cleanliness of the cabin. It was horrible. The dust was so thick on the bathroom cabinets you could see your finger prints. There was 2 pizza boxes in the oven that was there for a very long time. So long the the box on the bottom box was so moldy that the box was falling apart! It was so disgusting that we didn't use the oven. There was beer bottles and tops on the floor. The floor was so dirty that we had to leave shoes on the little ones or their feet would turn black. The hot tub was leaking on the porch below and in the kitchen and downstairs bedroom there were also leaks to the point we had to put bowls on the floor. The door was NOT locked when we arrived. There was trash already in the trash can upon arrival as well. After we cleaned up we enjoyed our stay.
