Loved it: Absolutely love the cabin and the seclusion. Would highly recommend this cabin and bear tootin cabin rentals!!

Steele cabin stay: We took a family vacation here with our 9 year old and my parents. Overall, the property is nice and secluded. Beautiful landscaped yard. The inside is nice and clean but very outdated. Some things to know for your stay here are that our biggest complaints were the mattresses and a/c limit. The matresses are all 3 from the 1970’s!!! They are so hard and lumpy and you feel the springs digging into your body. When you try and turn over, you have to pull yourself up a hill and you can hear every move you make on them because they are so loud and squeaky. The pillows are old and yellowed and they have super old thin bedding quilts. Beware, there is a limit of 70-76 on the thermostat. Kitchen was supplied well and bathrooms are great. The little deck is nice but sits in the blaring sun. In the picture was an umbrella over the outdoor table, but none when we got there. We absolutely love to sit outside! The game room is nice. It was full of games but no pieces, so useless. And no cable out there, only dvds. The garbage was a problem. There’s a little cage outside where they expect you to pile a family’s full week trip in!! Was never emptied. Emails to the manager were never answered. Overall, place is clean, needs a little updating, new bedding and mattresses and would be great. WiFi sucks here too! Reset the box and it will help for a day or so. If you are looking to escape and chill on a porch in the mountains like we were, not your place unless you want to sit in rain and sun.

Guys trip: We have been coming up white water rafting for the past 10 years and this property was one of the top three we have stayed in. We all enjoyed the cabin and the game room. And from all of us we thank you for allowing us to use this cabin. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for family or friends just getting away

Steele away: Overall we loved it! The roads are a bit dicey to get to the cabin but worth it!

Just okay: The cabin was clean upon arrival and equipped which essentials. It is an older looking property and could use some updates. WiFi was extremely slow (if that matters to you). Biggest negative was the beds. Mattresses are very old and uncomfortable (you can feel the springs). The beds make horrible grinding and squeaking noises even when just rolling over at night (and we’re not large people). Game room is nice but is in a detached garage (not attached like it seems in the pictures). Overall we had a nice stay, but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Quiet, relaxing mountain getaway!: Wonderful time! Great listing, plenty of room for everyone! Lots to do in the area obviously!

Beautiful place: We stayed here with our kids ages 9months-9years and we all enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of room for our baby to move around in his walker and plenty of room for us to have our own space. The older kids loved the freedom to walk to the garage game room to hang out and the hot tub was used daily! This cabin is close to so many fun things and we loved that you can call explorie to get a free ticket to certain attractions! this place is quiet except for the local rooster & dogs that you can only hear from outside. I recommend that you make the drive to “rock city” GA because that was awesome!

Best Girls trip EVER!: Loved it!!

Fun get away!: Me and several of my friends rented this place as a chance to get away and destress before our college finals. We had a great time. There was plenty of space for us to all enjoy from the hot tub to the game room. The check-in and check-out were so easy and enjoyable giving enough time for us all the enjoy our time. The only complaint was the parking was tight so would suggest no large trucks or a large number of vehicles. Overall a great chance for us to get away and enjoy our time.
