Peaceful Paradise: After reading the reviews and they were all 5's overall. We said how can this be??? We couldn't agree more. We have stayed at lots and lots of VRBO's and this one was the very best. You can forget about going out, because you will not want to leave this house; it's so nice. Lots of wildlife abound, especially the birds and wonderful territoriial views to enjoy. The surrounding area is a nice distance from the nearest neighbors. Occasional barking dogs, but that was very intermittent and not really a bother. The Wi-Fi is super fast, the 65" TV is like being in a mini theater. A couple of notes to keeping mind with this property: you will not be going through the VRBO check in system, rather you will go through "Bear Tootin" (a 3rd party management company) where you will be handed off too. Be sure and keep in mind that VRBO will not be directly handling the payment of fees, rather Bear Tootin will. So don't be surprised if VRBO doesn't respond to any payment issues. They did a fine job, but we weren't expecting this and had to call VRBO to see what was up with this? They explained that a 3rd party was handling payment and all was good after that. Just be aware. Also, we brought a bunch of quarters to wash the clothes because under "Property Amenities" under the laundry section it reads: "Coin Laundry" then under that it reads washer and dryer. Well, it's not a coin laundry that's probably a simple mistake. With that said 5 stars is too low a score for this property!

Weekend Trip: Loved the house, it’s very clean and spacious. It is close to town and local attractions. Hot tub over looking the mountains was very relaxing after a long day. Only thing missing from our side would be a few more starter things such as coffee or light snacks, we got in very late and the sores were closed. Cards or games would be nice too.

Great Mountain escape: The house was wonderful! The hosts attention to detail was superb and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!

Lovely stay: It was a nice place to stay our biggest issue was that only one shower worked which was difficult with 6 family members. Other than that we enjoyed the quiet stay in the mountains.

Only VERY minor room for improvement to this rental property - creature comfort comments only.

Our stay was great!

-could use a couple more kitchen equipment items (a large knife, large containers)

-would benefit from a pergola shaded or gazebo shaded area to enjoy the outdoors better when it’s super hot and sunny

-a spray cleaning product would be beneficial for cleaning counters between meals, etc.

-would love a ceiling fan in the bedrooms!

Great location!: Overall good stay…the attention to detail with cleaning could have been better as we noticed wall stains, cobwebs and insects inside and around the property and the deck areas badly needed to be swept. The cleaning crew showed up earlier than our check out and didn’t speak English or want to leave once they arrived. With a few minor improvements this place would get 5 stars.

Peace of Paradise was a beautiful farm house that was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. We took a mini vacation with my 98 year old mother and it was senior friendly except for the 4 steps which we had to help her up. We’ve been renting cabins for over 20 years and this one was perfect with no steep or winding roads but has beautiful mountain views. You can view the mountains out most of the windows. Close to town if you want to eat out and close to the national park which we visit every time. Enjoyed all the fireflies in the evening and s’mores around the fire pit. Hope to come back in the winter to use the beautiful buck stove!

Beautiful view/Great Location: A perfect place on "the peaceful side". Close to everything and everywhere we needed to be when we came up for a wedding in Townsend, but secluded enough to feel away from it all. We loved the open floor plan and the two dens. The place was immaculate and there was plenty of room for our family of four.

Peaceful views: The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos - spacious kitchen & living areas, pastoral mountain views, feels like ‘getting away’ yet is very close to town. The house was also very clean, well furnished, light & airy with many windows, soothing decor, & nicely furnished outdoor porches. The Bear Tootin property managers were extremely responsive - we a few issues with check in where the key pad battery had died & the housekeeping hadn’t been fully completed before check in time. Bear Tootin responded immediately & very quickly had everything fixed. They even arranged shipment for some personal belongings we accidentally left behind. We had a wonderful stay at Peace of Paradise, and hope to visit again soon. Highly recommended!
