If it's an intimate "studio cabin in the woods" kinda vibe you are lookin' for, the Light'n Bug Bungalow is perfect! Several really good restaurants close, a grocery store just down the road if you want to cook, cuddle, and binge-watch Netflix. For a couple's getaway, this place is perfect! Also, the convenient store that is almost within walking distance has all the firewood you need for a perfect fire to enjoy while relaxing. We can't wait to go back!

Lightn bug cabin: Beautiful cabin, enj I yed our stay.

We loved staying at Light'n Bug Bungalow! The cabin was so cute, clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed! Our favorite thing about the area was exploring the more out of the way places like Wears Valley and Townsend as opposed to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. We especially liked Elvira's restaurant and Trailhead Steak and Trout. We loved stopping at all the local shops and coffee shops too! We will definitely be back!

We were excited to be the first people to stay in the newly renovated cabin. It was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the hot tub.
Our purpose for the visit to the area was to ride the mountain roads in our jeep and visit Cade's Cove again. We did that and even got to see some bears. We've been to the Smoky Mountain area many, many, many times, but never stayed in this area. It will not be our last. The Jeep Outpost was a must shop for us and we enjoyed a meal at Apple Valley. We finished off our vacation by taking the foothills parkway over to an exciting drive through The Tail of the Dragon. Thank you for a wonderful visit experience to the Townsend area.
