For a more leisurely pace, settle into the wooden swing under the cool shade of a tree or the porch swing or rock away in one of the comfortable rocking chairs while taking in the serene surroundings and stunning mountain views, or watch the stars twinkle to life in the night sky.

This cabin, located in beautiful Wears Valley, is easily accessible by motorcycle and vehicle, making your journey straightforward and enjoyable. It features level parking for up to four cars, providing convenience for you and your guests. Nearby, you'll find essential shopping options at Dollar General, Kroger, and Food City. The cabin is a 5-minute drive to the Smoky Mountains, 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge, and 40 minutes to Gatlinburg. With such an ideal location, you’re just a short drive away from all the attractions downtown Pigeon Forge offers.

Local Fun:

Our area has so many fun and entertaining attractions for all ages. Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Lifetime memories: Absolutely perfect! The location, the mountain view and comfort. This cabin had everything and more for a fantastic first time trip to the mountains. We are already talking about our next one.

Great Location in the Smoky Mountains: Perfect cozy and spacious cabin located in the Wears Valley area - just the right distance from everything. An easy drive to Dollywood, Gatlinburg and hiking trails. Lots of great dining and shopping options near by, but the cabin feels secluded, just the experience we were looking for. The cabin was clean, plenty of room for our family to stretch out after a long road trip. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the week and the Christmas decor was a nice surprise.

The Burning Tree cabin was perfect for our needs. The location was close to the Townsend, Maryville, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the Foothills Parkway. The cabin was nicely appointed and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The large, flat yard was nice to walk the dogs, and the various outdoor seating area were a nice touch. The location was very peaceful! We will definitely book this cabin again in the future.

I do have some suggestions for improvement: 1) Add more lighting outside and trim the bush/tree on the corner with the sensor light.

It was difficult to see at night when taking the dogs out for a potty break. When I walked the dogs to yard, the large bush on the corner of the porch blocked our movement from the sensor light, and the light would turn off after a few seconds. One night, when we walked back to the steps to go inside, the sensor light came back on and there was a large black bear about 15 feet away. There is definitely bear activity in the area, so better lighting would be nice for people with pets who need to go outside after dark.

2) Make space in at least one cabinet to put food items.

All of the cabinets were filled with cookware or dishes. There was no space in the cabinets to put away the food items that we brought with us. That’s not a bad thing, but it did cause the counter top to be cluttered.

We have booked with Bear Tootin the last 5 years over our anniversary. We have stayed in 4 different cabins(stayed in 1 twice)and this is by far our favorite one. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. The location is perfect about roughly 15 minutes off the parkway depending on traffic. There are a few stores and places to eat a few minutes from the cabin. We even had a surprise visitor a couple evenings.It did end up getting the trash bin open.So maybe a more secure way to close it could be looked into but then again if they want in there getting in. We will definitely be booking this cabin for our return visits if its available. Thank you for a great stay!!

July, 2024: Overall, we had a very nice stay. We have stayed at many other properties and the cleanliness of this property was terrific.

I would suggest coming by to check trash when someone is staying several days because by the morning we checked out, we could not close the outside trash bin completely.

We had a bear that was able to open our outside trash bin two out of the five nights that we stayed. So we spent two mornings cleaning trash up around the property.😂 The paw prints on the trash bin were fun to see!

We would also suggest some more outside seating. If you say that the property accommodates nine people, it would be nice for nine people to be able to sit outside together without dragging out the kitchen chairs.

It would be nice to see you put steps up to the hot tub. There was no easy access to get in and out of the hot tub.

We did enjoy our visit and would suggest this property to others. Thanks for the memories!

Great house: Our stay was great! We had plenty of room and it was close to the event that we were attending. It wasn’t hard to get to there wasn’t a lot of high winding roads.

family vacay: cabin i s beautiful, we even seen a bear in the hayfield. properly sleeps 9 people comfortably!! The hot tub was refreshing after a day of exploring the towns nearby, was set at a comfortable temp.

Beautiful: It was a beautiful place. I sat on the porch in the over sized swimg and gazed at the mountains. It was so peachful. Ill definitely be stayijg there again..... my son enjoyed the Legos alomg the top of the wall... Enjoyment for all ages

Honestly we all loved this cabin, our favorite we've stayed in and we've stayed in probably about 6 different ones now. We saw a big black bear the 2nd night which was amazing. Closest any of us had ever been to one. The location was perfect honestly because there are stores close, but you are far enough away to not be bothered. Hot tub is huge. Only thing i would say which wasnt really an issue was some boards needed replaced by the hot tub but theyd already replaced one so i am sure that is being worked on between stays! 10/10 would recommend & we plan to stay at this cabin again.
