Greenville
Greenville, Maine, is located on Moosehead Lake, the state's largest lake, at 40 miles long and 20 miles wide—perfect for fishing or boating or you can venture to the middle of the lake to hike up to the top of Mount Kineo, with its 763-foot sheer cliff. Here you can also see one of the world’s largest masses of rhyolite, a light-colored volcanic rock found in select spots throughout the state.
