Dogwood Acre

The very best way to experience the Smoky Mountains is by staying in Dogwood Acre. This cabin is located in Wears Valley to enjoy the mountain views from the wrap around porch, with a section of the porch screened in. The living room is a cozy area to sit and relax in front of the fireplace with friends and family along with the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. One king master bedroom and private master bathroom with a free standing claw foot tub, and a walk-in shower.  Upstairs the cabin has 2 queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom along with laundry room. You will find the game room upstairs with ESPN basketball Hoops, an Adult 320 game Video Arcade, Adult Arcade Pinball Game and a Child's Arcade Video Game, and a bunk bed for the young kids to enjoy the game room and snooze at night the bunk bed is twin/full. Eat-in or grill out with the BBQ grill. After dinner, you'll want to sneak back to the screened in decked porch area with your favorite book to enjoy some alone time. The open-concept kitchen and dining area creates the perfect space for gathering, sharing meals, and making memories together. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and standard coffee maker, giving you everything needed to prepare anything from a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore to a cozy dinner shared with family and friends.
The island-style breakfast bar offers seating for three, making it a great spot to sip morning coffee, enjoy a quick lunch, or chat while meals are being prepared. Just steps away, the spacious dining area features a large table with comfortable head-of-the-table chairs and bench-style seating for six, creating a warm and inviting setting for family dinners, game nights, and meaningful conversations after a day in the Smokies.
Dish towels, starter dish soap, and starter dishwasher pods are provided for your convenience.

Game Area:
Head upstairs to the ultimate family game room, where fun and friendly competition awaits guests of all ages! Challenge each other to exciting games of ESPN Basketball Hoops, relive classic favorites on the 320-game adult arcade machine, or see who can rack up the highest score on the arcade pinball game. Younger guests will love having their own children’s arcade games creating the perfect space for nonstop entertainment and laughter.
When the games wind down, the cozy twin-over-full bunk bed makes it easy for the kids to settle in for movie nights, late-night giggles, and restful sleep after a day of Smoky Mountain adventures. The outdoor spaces at Dogwood Acre are designed for relaxing, gathering, and enjoying quality time with family and friends. The large, flat backyard provides plenty of room for kids to play and for everyone to spread out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Challenge each other to a friendly game at the horseshoe pit or simply unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings.
The covered carport adds convenience during your stay, while the spacious, wrap-a-round deck invites you to slow down and soak in the Smoky Mountain atmosphere. Sip your morning coffee from one of the rocking chairs, relax on the porch swing with a good book, or gather around the picnic table for outdoor meals and conversations. Fire up the charcoal grill for a classic family cookout and end the evening making memories under the mountain sky.

Location/Roads/Parking:
Dogwood Acre is nestled in the beautiful Wears Valley area of Sevierville, offering a peaceful Smoky Mountain setting while still being convenient to popular attractions, dining, and entertainment. The drive to the cabin features paved mountain roads with curves and uphill sections typical of the Smokies, but the roads are well maintained and accessible for most vehicles. Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles.

Guests will find several convenient grocery and shopping options nearby for everything from quick essentials to full grocery trips. The closest option is Whaley’s Country Store, located approximately 8–10 miles from the cabin and perfect for picking up snacks, drinks, and basic necessities.
For larger grocery runs, Walmart Supercenter, Kroger, and Publix are all with or about 15 miles away, offering a variety of fresh produce, groceries, bakery items, and household essentials.
If you need a quick stop for snacks, drinks, or everyday items, the nearest Dollar General is conveniently located approximately 6–7 miles from the cabin.

Local Fun: 
Our area has so many fun and entertaining attractions for all ages. Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills & adventure are over, visit Tanger outlets & local boutiques where you can shop until you drop. When it's dinner time, enjoy local cuisine from southern family style restaurants to chef cooked meals. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before you head back to the property.

Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, or New Years Day.

4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code & we will resend it a week before your stay.
