AIR CONDITIONING UPDATE - January 2026
In the late fall of 2025, the central air conditioning system at Hale Kona Kai was replaced. The HVAC equipment that services the individual condo was also inspected, with and any and all required maintenance/repairs completed. The air conditioning is in peak condition at this time.

This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.
Hale Kona Kai is an intimate, absolute oceanfront complex of 39 one-bedroom condominiums. Located at the edge of Kona Town, it is off the main road providing for quiet, ocean view relaxation from every unit. Located next to Royal Kona Resort, the united is very conveniently located to excellent dining. Huggo s and Don the Beachcomber s, landmark Kona restaurants, are right next door. Many other dining and entertainment options are all within easy walking distance. Honl s Beach is just south of the complex and the Kona Farmer s Market just a half mile to the north.
The complex offers many great amenities, including an elevator for easy access for everyone. On the ocean side you will find a heated salt water swimming pool and a barbeque area at the south end of the complex. Laundry machines are available on each floor.
Each unit offers central air conditioning, assigned parking, secure high speed WIFI, cable TV.
