Directly on the shore of Moosehead Lake, this cabin is located in Lamb’s Cove, just south of Rockwood – only 20-25 minutes from downtown Greenville. Lamb Cove is Moosehead’s most protected waterfront, whose shallow, warmer water is ideal for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, regardless of the weather on the main lake. At Moose Haven, you will find a 15ft Grumman canoe and two new single kayaks, with paddles and adult PFDs.
Moose Haven is a dream getaway, ideally suited for couples or families. Enjoy the ambiance of the cozy and comfortable interior or relax on the deck, listening to the breeze rustling through the trees and the loons calling from the water. Gather around the fire pit to roast your favorites or simply enjoy a crackling fire. Whatever you do, be sure to crack a bedroom window open and enjoy the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had. The first floor bedroom with attached master bathroom makes it easy for those who may have difficulty with stairs.
Situated inside a game preserve, deer, grouse, and moose sightings are most common during dawn and dusk. Pet Policy : NO PETS ALLOWED. Having pets of our own, this policy pains us, however we must be able to assure renters with allergies that only humans have occupied Moose Haven from one week to the next. Thank you for your understanding and observance.
